KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.732 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,243.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.066 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.403 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.398 billion), DJ (PKR 1.751 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.476 billion), Silver (PKR 519.346 million), Platinum (PKR 496.710 million), Natural Gas (PKR 279.109 million), SP 500 (PKR 188.431 million), Copper (PKR 142.449 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.509 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.545 million were traded.
