KARACHI: Karachi Transporters Action Committee has taken strong exception to the envisaged month long closure of CNG pump stations in the province.
Members of the committee, including its President, Mohammad Ashraf Banglori and others in a statement on Sunday said people are already exposed to serious difficulties due to closure of CNG supply to the vehicles, once or twice a week.
"Concerned authorities must not ignore the plight of commuters, particularly those using public buses as their means of transportation," said Banglori.
Transporters said that massive investments made in CNG sector, be it in form of pump stations or vehicles, will also jeopardize source of living for thousands of people due to non-availability of CNG.
