KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla, while describing the tax collection situation of Sindh Excise and Taxation Department from July 2020 to May 2021, has said that a total of Rs89481.298 million has been collected during the current financial year while the tax collected during the last financial year was Rs70464.767 million.
Mukesh Kumar Chawla said in a statement that Rs8496.923 million was collected for motor vehicle tax, Rs74196.842 million for infrastructure cess, Rs537.534 million for professional tax, Rs96.833 million for cotton fee, Rs1622.808 million was collected under property tax and Rs36.073 million under entertainment duty.
