KARACHI: Frost is likely to cover a few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours on Thursday, the Met Office said.

Cold and dry weather, it said, is expected in the most parts of the country.

A very cold weather may grip upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Dense fog is likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

“Dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country,” the Met said.

In the past 24 hours cold and dry weather prevailed over the most parts of the country.

A very cold condition remained in north Balochistan, northern areas, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
