KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.240 billion and the number of lots traded 10,093.
Major business was contributed by DJ PKR 3.036 billion, followed by gold amounting to PKR 3.032 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.185 billion, silver PKR 706.0521 million, currencies through COTS PKR 35.441 million, natural gas PKR 310.350 million, platinum PKR 134.356 million, crude oil PKR 101.416 million, copper PKR 67.436 million and SP500 PKR 30.871 million.
In agriculture commodities, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.639 million, one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.818 million and 6 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.370 million were traded.
