KARACHI: On Monday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.816 billion and the number of lots traded 17,587.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 7.115 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.865 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.040 billion, silver PKR 776.750 million, copper PKR 758.313 million, natural gas PKR 402.979 million, crude oil PKR 395.000 million, platinum PKR 273.940 million, DJ PKR 112.052 million and SP500 PKR 76.489 million.

In agriculture commodities, 19 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 34.806 million were traded.
