KARACHI: On Friday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.591 billion and the number of lots traded 8,791. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.366 billion, followed by copper PKR 1.217 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.104 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 718.181 million, natural gas PKR 387.098 million, silver PKR 330.834 million, crude oil PKR 260.091 million, platinum PKR 82.630 million, SP500 PKR 63.893 million and DJ PKR 59.591 million. In agriculture commodities, 10 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 25.149 million and 2 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 9.236 million were traded.
