KARACHI: On Friday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.641 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,132.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.194 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.259 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 855.282 million, copper PKR 673.382 million, DJ PKR 426.075 million, silver PKR 389.078 million, crude oil PKR 354.955 million, natural gas PKR 345.794 million, platinum PKR 72.418 million and SP500 PKR 70.575 million.

In agriculture commodities one lot of corn amounting to PKR 3.046 million were traded.
