LAHORE: PML-N president and the Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has signed surety bonds against pre-arrest bail granted to him on June 03 by Lahore High Court in an investigation of assets beyond means.
On Saturday, Shahbaz Shairf arrived at the court and signed the documents before the deputy registrar judicial. Shahbaz Sharif had tested positive for Covid-19 after the bail hearing and went into self-isolation, which delayed the signing of surety bonds.
The court had allowed him time to sign the bonds. Hearing of the bail petition is fixed for July 7. The court on last hearing had directed Shahbaz Sharif to get his latest test for Covid-19 from Punjab Institute of Public Health Sciences.
