As many as five people were drowned as a flood stream in Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency area swept away three passenger vans, on Sunday. The vans were swept away by the torrent in the Khyber Agency area, killing five people, including three women, and a child. Eyewitnesses said at least two children had been rescued by people on a self-help basis, a private TV channel reported.
The bodies of the people swept away have not been found as yet. However rescue activities have been started in the area.
