Chakra Goth to have permanent police posts: Wassan

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan has said that Korangi's violence prone Chakra Goth will have permanent police check posts. "Provincial government has planned check posts on permanent basis and will pay compensation to the victims of recent violence," he said while talking to media after visiting Chakra Goth here on Friday.
It may be mentioned here that a police bus came under indiscriminate firing by unidentified gunmen few days back on its way near Chakra Goth as a result of which 3 policemen were killed and several injured. Accompanied by CCPO Saud Mirza and DIG East Akram Naeem and local representatives of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), he said that action would be taken against outlaws without any discrimination and political affiliation. "Our priority is to give protection to the life and property of the people," he added. He said that efforts were being made by the provincial government in co-ordination with the Police, Rangers and Federal Government authorities.
