Muslims all across the country observed Juma-tul-wida (last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan) and Al-Qudus Day with religious sanctity on Friday. Followers thronged mosques and worship places to offer prayers with respect and honour as the Day bears key importance for the Muslims all over the world.
Ulema and Mashaikh delivered sermons on importance of Ramazan and urged the followers to tread the path of Allah and the Holy prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and fully act upon the teachings of Islam. Large gatherings were seen at Mosques, Madaris, Imam bargahs and worship places to offer prayers and sought forgiveness from Allah Almighty. Special prayers were offered for the prosperity and solidarity among the Muslims and unity of the Ummah.
Also known as Al-Qudus Day, the Muslims observe this day to express solidarity with Palestinian people in their struggle against Israeli subjugation. The month of Ramazan is the most revered month in the Islamic calendar as the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in this month. Muslims all over the world fast during Ramazan and seek benediction and forgiveness from Allah Almighty with all solemnity and serenity. They feel it a blessing when they find this month in their lives and worship more and more to cleanse their inner and acquire closeness of Almighty.
