Haji Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, President AJK, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday. The President felicitated him on assuming important responsibilities as the President of AJK and joining the ranks of distinguished politician who have had the honour of discharging duties as Prime Minister as well as the President of the state.
He said that his victory was yet another achievement of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and a true reflection of peoples' confidence and support for the Party. The President expressed the hope that his tenure would bring qualitative change in the lives of the people of the area and he would work for the well-being of the masses taking along all the political leadership with him in his efforts, while upholding our principled stand on the issue of Jammu & Kashmir.
