LONDON: Spot trade was muted on Tuesday due to competition from alternative light sweet crude grades, including from the United States, and a number of tenders.
While a short November loading Bonny Light programme emerged on Monday following the lifting of force majeure last week, there was still no sign of a December schedule.
Some Nigerian Forcados cargoes from November were still unplaced, one trader said, while Statoil continued to offer Usan on a delivered basis at dated Brent plus $1.45 a barrel.
Most December programmes have been issued and as of Friday amounted to 48 cargoes or 1.38 million barrels per day.
Angola is exporting 51 cargoes in December according to an updated loading plan and there are still thought to be a few November cargoes available.
