Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday, carrying furnace oil at FOTCO, LPG at EVTL.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percentat the Port on Saturday where total number of seven ships namely M.V Ionian Sea, M.V Fisher-K, M.V MSC Catania, M.T Al Khalidia, M.T Long Champ, M.V Zeynep-K are currently occupying berths to load/ offload rice, cement, containers, canola seeds, furnace oil, LPG for the last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume of 87,617 tonnes comprising 53,091 tonnes imports, 34526 tonnes exports 4097 (TEUs) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.

M.T Chembulk Savannah sailed on Saturday morning M.T Long Champ, M.V Catania sailed out to sea on Sunday morning.

M.V Maersk Georgia, M.T SC Ningbo was to arrive on December 4.
