Five persons of a family were killed and as many others sustained injuries in a road accident on Jhang-Toba road on Thursday. According to family sources, members of a family resident of Basti Abbaspur were going in a motorcycle rickshaw for offering condolence to relatives, which was hit head-on by a speeding passenger wagon near Shakarganj sugar mills.
Muhammad Nawaz and Kalsoom (10) were killed on the spot, while three women-Saban, Inayat Bibi and Jantaan Bibi succumbed to their injuries in a hospital.
