A man was killed and another injured in exchange of gunfire between two groups on a piece of land at Safora Goth on Thursday. According to police, the land grabber groups disputed over a piece of land situated at Baloch Khan Goth near Safora Chowrangi. After an exchange of few hot words, the armed group has opened indiscriminate firing on them resultantly, a man was killed and another injured in the incident.
Police said Ali Raza, 35, son of Baloch Khan was killed while Raheem Bux, 30, son of Sharif was injured in the incident. Later, the body of deceased was handed over to the heirs after autopsy from a hospital. The police have lodged an FIR No 272/10 under section 302, 324 and 34 of the Pakistan Panel Code (PPC) on complaint of Muhammad Sharif Gabol against Irfan, Zeeshan, Imran and Shani. The angry people blocked Safora Chowrangi suspending all kind of vehicular traffic to condemn the incident.
