NEW YORK: US Gulf Coast crude oil imports fell by 634,000 barrels per day last week to 2.5 million bpd, the lowest level since September 2016, according to US Energy Information Administration data on Wednesday.

US refinery utilization last week rose 0.9 percentage points to 96.3 percent, the highest since August 2005, EIA data showed.
