RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49766.09 with a negative change of 61.42 and volume of 41,705,460 shares.

High and Low were 49909.33 and 49737.80 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 193,541,330 shares with 344 total traded companies out of which 179 were up, 151 were down and 14 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,893,400 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 28,993,050 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 20,702,000 and price per share of 26.08 (0.88), B.O.Punjab with a volume 14,623,000 of price per share of 14.08 (0.38), Summit Bank with a volume 10,820,000 of price per share of 5.17 (0.31).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share 2358.79 (112.32), Sapphire Tex. with price per share of 1522.20 (72.45) and Service Ind.Ltd XD share of 1480.00 (52.75).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2400.00 (70.20), Pak TobaccoXD with price per share of 1475.00 (41.43) and Nestle PakistanXD per share of 9360.00 (40.00).
