KARACHI: C.V ACX Lily carrying containers was allotted berth at Qasim International Container Terminal on Sunday, October 30.
Meanwhile another container ship Maersk Missouri also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy remained at moderate at the Port at Sunday where two ships namely C.V ACX lily and M.T Golden Ambrosia were occupied at PQA berths to load-offload containers and chemicals during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 8,286 tonnes, comprising 6,662 tonnes imports and 1,624 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 787 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
Container ship ACX Lily sailed out to sea on Monday (today) morning while another chemicals carrier Golden Ambrosia is expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Three ships C.V Maersk Missouri,C.V MSC Anafi and M.T Malo Bo carrying container and chemicals are expected to take berths at QICT and EVTL respectively on Monday, October 31.
