New York: Ahead of Donald Trumps presidential inauguration, several thousand protesters are on the streets of New York to express their displeasure with the upcoming administration.
According to Deccan Chronicle, several Hollywood A listers including Academy Award winning superstar Robert De Niro, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, Alec Baldwin and New York Mayor Bill De Blasio are present in the protest.
The protesters were holding placards which read "Stop Trump/Pence Fascist Regime", "Keep your laws off my body" and raised other anti-Trump slogans.
Meanwhile, some 900,000 people, both Trump backers and opponents, are expected to flood Washington for Fridays inauguration ceremony, according to organizers estimates.
Trump will officially be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States on Friday.
