The prices of 10 gram of gold rose to Rs 11,702 on Saturday from Wednesday's Rs 11,617 as the bullion market opened after two-day break.
A local bullion trader, Rashid Sami said: "The upward trend in gold prices in Pakistan over the last several weeks is due to surge in the international market." The per ounce gold prices in London market have surged beyond $603.
