FCCI demands broadening of tax net

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) on Monday demanded the government to broaden tax net.

In a statement issued here, Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) said the government and private sectors were important segments of economy and both were working for its stabilization.

He said that both of these had to develop better understanding to promote healthy business and economic activities in the country.

He demanded that all economic related policies should be discussed with the concerned stakeholders before making any final decision, and government should give due representation to the business leaders in the policy making institutions.
