Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships anchored at Port Qasim on October 14 carrying containers at QICT, furnace oil at FOTCO, paraxyline meg at EVTL.

The berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of six ships namely M.V Opel-II, M.V Sargodha, M.V Lord By Ron, M.V MSC Roberta, M.T Kassos, M.T Golden Ambrosia are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, sunflower seed containers, furnace oil, paraxyline meg was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 89597 tonnes, comprising 71385 tonnes import and 18212 tonnes export, 1162 (TUEs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours. M.V MSC Robert sailed on Saturday morning. M.V CMA CGM Eiffel, M.V Lotus at QICT, M.T STX Hero at LCT arrives on October, 15.
