Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) President Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said the incident of 9/11 was specially designed to crush Muslims all over the world. He said this while addressing certificates distribution ceremony at Syed Maududi International Institute of Islamic Education here on Saturday. He added after the fall of Communism, United States (US) has made Muslim Ummah its prime target and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Secretary General declared that after Communism, Islamic fundamentalism was the biggest threat.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad regretted Islamabad was working as an agent of Nato and the US, whose military base has been established in Afghanistan near Pakistan border.
"General Pervez Musharraf has declared that country is facing danger from extremism and is working as an ally of America against Islamic movements. Musharraf is also a friend of India and also declared Sharon-the killer of Palestinians, as a brave general and courageous solider", he added.
Qazi said Musharraf was also provoking people against the religious forces, by asking them not to vote religious parties, which was violation of the Constitution of Pakistan on his part. He alleged Musharraf was an opponent of unity of Muslim Ummah and was bent upon to divide Muslims into groups and regions. Pakistan was a great blessing of Allah, he said.
About the institute, Qazi said it was rendering great service by providing education to students from different cultures in an Islamic environment.
Principal of the institute Colonel Umar Farooq Ghazi (Retd), Naib Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Chaudhry Rehmat Elahi, Chairman of the Institute Abdul Ghaffar Aziz were also present on the occasion.
