image‘Dabbang’ Salman Khan has been reunited with his former ladylove Katrina Kaif for the sequel of Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The film titled as ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar this time.

According to a source, “Ali (Abbas Zafar) and Katrina are really good friends and they get along very well. Katrina wanted to work with him again since a while now. So Tiger Zinda Hai is the perfect opportunity for them to collaborate with each other. In fact, there are high chances that Katrina will sign on the dotted line after coming back (Katrina is currently in USA for the Dream Team Tour),” Bollywood Life reported.

The film ended with Katrina and Salman had run away from their respective organisations and were hiding together. So their part wasn’t over. The sequel will reportedly begin from where ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ ends.

The movie went on to become one of the highest grossing movies that year. Since then the duo didn’t appear together on screen followed by their unfortunate break up. However, both actors shares good rapport with each other.

Ali Abbas Zafar has also directed Salman Khan’s latest hit ‘Sultan’. The movie has crossed 300 crore mark this weekend.

For now, Salman Khan has begun shooting for his next movie ‘Tubelight’, while Katrina Kaif is busy with Dream Tour in US.
