imageAt the time of Rio Olympic opening ceremony, the Olympic organizers were keep on talking about the green environment but no one talks about the pool at Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre. It was said that on Monday, the pool water was blue, but no one found out the reason that why the pool’s water had changed its color to dark green.

However, the organizers of the Rio Olympics have tested the water and found No risk.

According to CNN, "The water quality at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre was tested and there were no risks for the athletes. We are investigating the cause," officials said.

Also, David Boudia, a U.S. men's diver who won silver on Monday night, tweeted a remark wondering whether St. Patrick's Day was being celebrated. Inside the pressroom, American photographers talks about the possibility of the water not been treated properly overnight, causing a drop in chlorine levels and the formation of algae.

While, the British divers Tonia Couch who finished fifth alongside Lois Toulson told to BBC sports, “I've never dived in anything like it”. She added, "We noticed it in the warm-up and then by the competition it was even greener, but if anything it actually made it a bit easier to spot [where the water was], so it didn't make a difference.
