As we all know that the land of Pakistan oozes with talent, whether it comes to technology or innovative ideas we are right there at the top. The above notion can be seconded by the fact that our very own music streaming startup Patari has secured 2nd spot at the World StartUp Cup 2016.
The Pakistani based music streaming platform, participated in the event held in Washington DC from 3rd to 5th August, reported the media company TechJuice.
However, the top spot went to a Moroccan internet and phone company GoMobile, winning the World StartUp Cup. Whereas, the third position was grabbed by HY Pictures, an Armenian startup that is a media producing company.
Now, about some info about the World StartUp Cup, the cup was created “to recognize the achievements of outstanding entrepreneurs who have grown dynamic businesses during their local StartUp Cup acceleration program,” states its website.
It is also pertinent to inform that another Pakistani startup, Go-Fig Solutions won the StartUp Cup 2014.
