Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim on Monday where ships namely MV Sargodah and Opel carrying Cement, MV Mesaieed carrying Furnace Oil and Chem Bulk Jakarta carrying Edible Oil are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 26725 tonnes, comprising 19630 tonnes imports and 7129 tonnes exports was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

A Furnace Oil ship MV Mesaieed sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning while another vessel of Edible Oil, MV Chem Bulk Jakarta will sail later today.
