LONDON: European stock markets opened flat on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index edging up 0.02 percent to 5,293.56 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 dipped 0.04 percent to 5,647.66 points and in Paris the CAC 40 slid 0.10 percent to 3,072.39 points.
