Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne has commented on Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir is a fine bowler saying he will be at his best for the series against England which will commence from July 14 with the first Test to be played at Lord’s.
According to local media reports, “I think both the bowling sides will be good,” said Warne. “I think the top order will be tested, of both Pakistan and England.”
“I feel for him. He’ll be fine. He is an excellent bowler. Hopefully he will be at his best for the series,” said Warne.
However, Amir will likely be resuming his Test career at Lord's on July 14 where he played his last Test match nearly six years ago in 2010. Amir made his return to international cricket on January 15 this year, in a Twenty20 International against New Zealand.
Pakistan, however, have won their last two Test series against England, in 2012 and 2015, both of which took place in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan, who are touring England for a full series for the first time since 2010, play four Tests, five ODIs and a T20 match besides several side matches over two and half months.
