LAHORE: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said positive attitude and political stability are imperative to ensure economic progress and development.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, he said Pakistan has been included in Emerging Market Index and the world is seeing Pakistan as emerging economy.
The minister said that terrorists have been crushed and law and order situation in Karachi has been improved. Balochistan has also been included in national streamline.
Ahsan Iqbal said that importance of China Pakistan Economic Corridor could not be minimized and work on various energy projects under CPEC is underway which would help overcome electricity crisis.
The Minister said work on 3,600MW LNG power projects is also in progress and the electricity generated with these projects would be added in national grid.
