"Raheela, always liked the name Raheela?"
"Well it reminds me of our weaknesses as a nation. Any name ending with la calls to mind the Jiyalas and the Nawalas...and if I am hungry Nirala and if amused, again, Nirala...wasn't that also the name of our famous comedian?"
"Yes, you are right."
"But what made you think of the name Raheela?"
"The Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly is named Raheela."
"Has to be a Nawala turned Musharrafwala?"
"Don't know if she ever was a Nawala."
"They all were at one time. I hope you will excuse me but I think even Musharraf was a Nawala once..."
"Reminds me of William Blake, the greatest poet of all time if you ask me, anyway reminds me of his famous line which is 'Every harlot was a virgin once'."
"Somewhat like our Saadat Hassan Minto, right? That what is not good today was in the past and that we must work with the inherent goodness."
"Don't get side-tracked. Coming back to Raheela."
"Yes, the Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker."
"Well, she has asked the opposition to give up creating chaos..."
"Chaos defined as?"
"Chaos defined as raising points of order that the Musharrafwalas want suppressed."
"But isn't that the major role of the opposition! To raise issues so that..."
"No, not in our new and improved democracy."
"Ah yes, we have a different version, that's right."
"She said that they had been given development funds for the first time in...well since Musharraf took over power, and they should focus on spending them to improve the lot of the Sindhi people."
"But then I would assume that all the funds were being allocated to the constituencies that belong to the Musharrafwalas rather than to those of the opposition."
"She didn't say anything about it, and nor was she questioned about it."
"That's what I like about our electronic media - they are so kind to the rulers."
"As they should be - see they don't create chaos, only the opposition members."
"Shame that!"
"We are both being way too facetious. Maybe this time around we both will get into trouble."
