Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the success of talks between Pakistan and India depends on the flexibility to be shown by New Delhi.
Talking to reporters in Makli, District Thatta, on Friday, he said the process of dialogue is going ahead in a pleasant atmosphere.
Sheikh Rashid had gone to Makli to attend the wedding ceremony of Zainul Abadin Jilani, son of Pir Ghulam Jilani, Sajjada Nasheen of Norai Sharif.
He said that all the outstanding issues between the two countries should be settled through negotiations and added that the more the flexibility to be exhibited by India, the more the talks would become successful.
To a question, Sheikh Rashid said the Kalabagh Dam and the other water projects are for the benefit of people of Sindh as well.
He further stated that the politics of future would depend on the water.
The minister pointed out that the barren lands require water for cultivation.
Replying to a question about nuclear scientists, he said that out of 6,200 such scientists only four are being interrogated.
To another question, the minister said that there is no room for the politics of Ms Benazir Bhutto.
He stated that no one has prevented Benazir from coming back. Only she will have to go through the process of courts.
