China remained the leading importer of Brazilian soyabeans in 2003 for the second year running, the crop supply agency Conab of the Agriculture Ministry said.
Holland, Germany and Spain followed China as major consumers of Brazilian soyabeans.
Combined, the four countries accounted for 13.55 million tonnes of the total 19.89 million tonnes of soyabeans that Brazil shipped abroad in 2003.
