Crescent Capital Management (Pvt) Ltd: daily foreign exchange report

The greenback reigned supreme in the Interbank Forex Market as it advanced by 4.0 to 5.0 paisa more versus the Pak rupee during the day.
The "spot-market" opened with the US dollar changing hands in the range of Rs 57.39 and Rs 57.41 as respective buying and selling rates.
Intermittent buying in the market kept the Pak rupee under pressure as it shed 3.0 paisa in bid and offer at Rs 57.42 and Rs 57.44.
By the end of trading session, due to persistent buying the local currency retreated by 2.0 paisa more, concluding the day in the range of Rs 57.44 and Rs 57.46 as respective buying and selling rates.
In swap transactions, prices in shorter tenures surged, while in longer tenures rates remained unchanged. 1-week swap was dealt in the range of -2.0 paisa and -1.0 paisa.
