The present rulers would be tried in the squares of major cities for giving Pakistan's air-bases, sea-ports, and intelligence network to United States for attacking Afghanistan, the operation in south Waziristan, allowing the India for erecting fences on Line of Control, the massacre of Kashmiri freedom fighters, declaring the Biharis as non-Pakistanis, violating the Ideology of Pakistan and humiliation of nuclear scientists, and freezing the nuclear programme, said Punjab PML (N) Secretary-General Saad Rafiq while addressing a big gathering here on Saturday.
He said: "We would not let the rulers enforcing Pentagon dictated policies in Pakistan, and creating a state of war between armed forces and the people to weaken the defence."
He also said that dooms day of the Pakistani rulers was not far away they would soon meet their destiny because the countdown for the return of Sharif family and departure of the rulers had begun simultaneously, and they would have to go.
Saad Rafiq said Nawaz Sharif and his family were exiled from the country for not accepting the dictation of then-US president Bill Clinton on avoiding attaining the nuclear capability, and he did six blasts to compete with India which did five blasts.
He said now Pakistan has been declared the seventh atomic power.
The PML (N) leader said President Pervez Musharraf was implementing the roadmap of United States, and he was eliminating the enemies of USA, the operation in Wana (South Waiziristan), exile of Nawaz Sharif with family, detention of Javed Hashmi, handing over the Pakistani and Afghan freedom fighters (Jihadis), raids on religious seminaries, arrest of scientists and acceptance of dependence and slavery.
He said Mian Shahbaz Sharif, former Punjab chief minister, would soon come back home and the schedule of his return would be finalised by the PML (N) high command and Mian Nawaz Sharif would also reach Pakistan soon.
He dispelled the impression that the Sharif family was exiled to Saudi Arabia on 10 years agreement, saying Pervez Musharraf himself denied any agreement.
Saad Rafiq said we had opposed the joining hands with US forces for operation in Afghanistan against Taleban, but Musharraf not only provided them airbases, but also intelligence network, lists of Taleban, and sea ports, resultantly Northern Alliance came into power, which is sitting in the lap of India, Israel and USA, and Pakistan had to station 70,000 troops on northern borders for the first time. India was erecting fences on Line of Control without any fear taking advantage of unilateral cease-fire, he added.
MNA Mamoona Hashmi said the nuclear scientists were performing their duties under the surveillance and control of armed forces, and their activities were under watch, adding if the nuclear technology was exported to any other state then Army generals would be responsible for that, but they were neither debriefed nor tried whether they are sacred cows, she asked.
She also said there was no permission even for the prime minister to visit laboratories, but Generals visited these laboratories frequently and freely. Since the Shaukat Aziz who, according to her, is an American agent visited the Kahuta Laboratory, then scientists are under trouble. They are being humiliated, tortured and harassed.
Mamoona Hashmi said the military rulers ever changed the geographical borders of the country, adding Ayub Khan sold out the Pakistan's water through Indus water treaty, Yahya Khan lost East Pakistan, General Zia-ul-Haq lost Siachin glacier, and Pervez Musharraf is trying to make the country again a dependent (slave) state.
The meeting was also addressed by Syed Mujahid Ali Shah, Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, MNA, Ashiq Ali Shujra, Imran Liaquat, Nafees Ahmed Ansari, MPA, Begum Shamshad Noorullah, Shaheen Shafiq, Begum Gulzar Rashid, Mazhar Jamil Qureshi, Imtiaz Gulzar Chattan, Anwar Ali, Rana Noorul Hassan, Ehsanuddin Qureshi, Tariq Rashid, Munir Langah, Shahid Mukhtar Lodhi, and Mian Asad.
