PARIS: Paris stocks opened down 1.09 percent Wednesday on profit taking as investors waited to see if European leaders can resolve the eurozone debt crisis amid differences over strengthening the bloc's bailout fund.
The CAC 40 index lost 32.19 points to 2,990.47 points, having soared 5.74 percent on Tuesday as investors bet that Europe would come up with a solution to the damaging eurozone debt crisis.
