Wheat purchase target to be achieved

SARGODHA: Deputy Director Food Saif Ullah said that 3075 metric tons of wheat had been purchased against the target of 342000 metric tons in Sargodha division.

Talking to this scribe on Tuesday he said gunny bags have also been distributed transparently among the farmers.

He said that 36 centers were set up at various points to buy wheat in the division.

He said that gunny bags have been distributed for 45415 metric tons in District Sargodha against the target of 134000 metric tons adding that in District Khushab gunny bags had been distributed for 6438 metric tons of wheat against target of 19000 metric tons.

Similarly bags were also distributed for 19911 metric tons wheat purchase in District Mianwali.
