imageThe Chairman, of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has warned to stage sit-in at Raiwind, also the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, if transparent investigations of the Panama leaks are not conducted.

According to local media reports, the cricketer turned politician said, “This time we will take the workers of PPP and PML-N along to launch an anti-government movement and stage a sit-in at Raiwind for which preparations have already been started,”

Imran Khan demanded that the probe into the Panama leaks to be conducted by a team, headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Criticizing the address by PM Sharif, Imran said, “If a person wants to do corruption, he doesn’t keep assets in his name. That’s why all assets (of Nawaz Sharif) are in kids’ names.”

“Panama Papers consist of 11.5 million papers and only few papers have surfaced so far which connect our ruling elite with offshore accounts,” said Imran Khan, while adding that “the party has just begun!”

Earlier, Imran Khan asked the PTV management to allow him address the nation through its platform, as PTV runs on public taxes. However, his plea was rejected by the government as the Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Friday, that only President and Prime Minister can address the nation through the state run PTV.
