NEW YORK: The euro climbed to a session high against the dollar on Wednesday as investors positioned ahead of a Federal Reserve statement at the end of a two-day meeting on the outlook for the economy and any plans to boost growth.
The euro was last up 0.2 percent at $1.37270 on electronic trading platform EBS with the session high at $1.37325.
The Fed's policy announcement is due at about 2:15 p.m. (1815 GMT).
