Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port Qasim (PQ) on Saturday 17th September, 2011, carrying Diesel Oil at FOTCO.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 28pc at the Port on Saturday where a total of Four ships namely M.V Genius Star X, M.V Mohammad Prince, M.V Orient-II, M.T Al-Salam-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload Cement, Steel Product, Diesel Oil last 24 hours.
Cargo Handling Operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a Cargo volume 34096 tonnes, comprising 30081 tonnes import and 4015 tonnes exports, was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Mohammad Prince sailed on Sunday Morning.
M.V Margrit Rickmers, Maersk Wisconsin and Acx Lily are expected to take berth at QICT on Sunday 18th September, 2011.
