LONDON: European stocks rallied higher at the open on Monday, in the wake of an earlier rebound across most of Asia.
In initial trade, London's FTSE 100 benchmark index rose 0.7 percent to 5,749.3 points compared with the close on Friday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rallied almost 2.2 percent to 9,163.5 points and the Paris CAC 40 surged nearly 2.3 percent to 4,086.3.
