PIA Scouts observe National Scouting Week
KARACHI: Provincial Commissioner, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Scouts, Nawab Ali Shah, has called upon the PIA Scouts to play a vibrant role for development of the country and National Flag Carrier.
He was speaking as chief guest of the concluding ceremony of National Scouting Week at PIA Scouts Headquarters, said a statement issued on Thursday.
Assistant Provincial Commissioner PIA Scouts, Muhammad Shoaib, while addressing the inaugural ceremony said that scouting movement provides excellent opportunities to cultivate spirit of friendship, mutual understanding and social welfare.
The event was organised by Assistant Provincial Commissioner Rashid Ameen Dar and Secretary Events, Muhammad Usman Khan.
Besides, different other events and contests, the scouts also fully participated in plantation campaign carried out across the country by the scouts during the week at Airports in Karachi, Quetta, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
