imageSWABI: Advisor to the Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Saturday said the federal government was determined to eliminate the mencae of terrorism from Karachi to Khyber and for the purpose ity had adopted strong policies.

Terrorists could be allowed to continue territorizing the people, create disorder in the country and harm the national economy, he said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a passport office here. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Pir Sabir Shah and party workers were also present at the function.

Amir Muqam said the National Action Plan was being implemented successfully with the support of entire nation and the day was not far off when there would be complete peace in the country.

The entire nation was on one page for eliminating terrorism and the government was serious to root out the menace from the country at all costs, he added.

The Advisor said the government was committed to end power loadshedding in the country. That was why it had initiated energy projects, which had no precedence in the past, and would ensure their completion before scheduled time. There would be no power outages in 2018 and the critics would themselves admire that the government had fulfilled the pledges it had made with the people, he added.

On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, he said, had committed that some 360 small dams would be built in the province to overcome power loadshedding, but no concrete step had been taken for the purpose till date.

"It is just a hollow slogan. The PTI-led government in KP has proved a total failure on all fronts as it has been concentrating only on making propaganda against the PML-N."

He advised the PTI leadership to end 'politics of dharnas (sit-ins)' and concentrate on serving the masses.

Muqam said the people of the province had rejected the PTI policies and voted for representatives of other political parties in the local government election. The PTI's performance in Swabi distict's local government elections was evident of that fact, he added

The passport office was a longstanding demand of the people of the district, and they were thankful to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for its its establishment, he said.

Pir Sabir Shah and member of the KP Assembly Shiraz Khan also spoke on the occasion.
