german-stock-exchangeFRANKFURT: German stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday, a day after the blue-chip DAX 30 index plunged more than 5.0 percent to its lowest level in more than two years.

A few minutes after opening, the index was showing a gain of 0.94 percent at 5,295.07 points.
