LAHORE: Punjab University Sunday awarded 4 PhD degrees to the scholars on the recommendations of the Board of Studies.
According to the details, Drakhshan Liaqat D/o Liaqat Ali Awan was awarded PhD in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled "Agha Babar: Hayat Aur Adbi Khidmat", Sadia Nasrullah D/o Muhammad Nasrullah in the subject of Arabic after approval of her thesis entitled "Critical Study and Editing the Manuscript Noor Ul Waezeen by Al Sheikh Noor ul Hasan Al Tariq (1348-h)", Wajiha Iram D/o Muhammad Zaheer in the subject of Agricultural Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled "Detoxification of Mycotoxins Isolated from Storage Fungi of Maize Using Extracts of Local Medicinal Plants" and Saman Shahid D/o Abdul Qadeer Shahid in the subject of Environmental Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled "Molecular Analysis of Human Interferon Alpha 2b Gene in Brain Cancer Patients and Suspected Individuals Exposed to Environmental Ionization Radiations".
