imageBollywood heartthrob Salman Khan is in news all over following his upcoming release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Recently, Salman Khan has condemned people who are circulating anti-religious messages using his name and has requested his fans to turn a deaf ear to such idle talk.

Indian TV news channel quoted Salman Khan as saying, “I do not need the support of Muslims who support Asaduddin Owaisi”. The messages allegedly said that Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan would prove to be a success even without the support of his Muslim fans.

It can be noted that the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Asaduddin Owaisi has been critical of Salman Khan in the past.

The 49-year-old actor said that he respects all faiths and that he has no role to play in circulating those messages. He tweeted, “Anti religious messages’s doing the rounds using my name, don’t believe these rumours, not true at all. Informed the police, they are taking action”.

“Always have and will respect all faiths… arre have them all in my own house under one roof,” he added.

‘Kick’ actor has lodged an FIR in a police station in Mumbai, and has sought police action against those spreading the message on his name.
