JAND: Punjab Government have delivered free textbooks to all the headmasters of more than 1200 government schools for further distribution among 222,719 students studying at these schools in different classes of tehsil Jand and other tehsils of Attock district.
This was stated by Executive District Officer (EDO) Education Attock Qazi Zahoor Hussain said this while talking to APP here on Sunday.
He said that free textbooks have been handed over to the headmasters/headmistresses of the schools concerned as per the enrolment of the students.
He said that all the books had been distributed under the supervision of District Monitoring Officer Muhammad Farooq Akmal and his field staff. He said that in tehsil Jand 41,914 students, in Pindigheb 32,959 students, in Fatehjang 39,783 students in Attock 39702 students, in Hasanabdal 26524 students and in tehsil Hazro 41837 students will be provided free books.
