The pop star Lady Gaga will perform live at the Oscar 2015. Gaga and Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced on social media sites that the pop singer will take part in this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
The 28-year-old singer confirmed the news by tweeting, “I'm performing live at the OSCARS this year!”.
“Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist who’s musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time”, Zadan and Meron said in a statement, foreign media reported.
Gaga has also performed with Tony Bennett at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards earlier this month. Gaga has won six Grammys and sold 27 million albums and 130 million singles.
The 2015 Oscars will go on-air on February, 22 on ABC.
